‘Dearest’ rings rose to popularity in the Georgian & Victorian eras (late 1700s-1800s), which is likely when this ring was made. Each letter of Dearest represents a stone: D – Diamond, E – Emerald, A – Amethyst, R – Ruby, E – Emerald, S – Sapphire, T – Topaz. We wonder which Princes this came from.
